Ragna has more than 25 years of experience in leadership, research, and product development within the aquaculture industry. She has held key positions in companies such as Grieg Seafood, Mowi, and Cargill, with responsibility for global R&D, feed, and fish performance. With a background as a veterinarian and researcher, she combines biological insight with strategic understanding to develop commercial and sustainable solutions for the seafood sector.

  • Global R&D Manager – Grieg Seafood ASA (2021–2025). Responsible for the company’s global research and development strategy.
  • Global Manager Feed & Fish Performance – Mowi ASA (2017–2020). Led global feed and fish performance, with both commercial and biological responsibility, including negotiation of feed contracts.
  • Senior Scientist – EWOS Innovation / Cargill Innovation Center (2014–2017). Research and development in feed and nutrition for salmon aquaculture.
  • Product Manager Functional Feeds – EWOS Norway (2011–2014). Development and launch of functional feed products for health and performance.
  • Department Manager – Norwegian Veterinary Institute, Bergen (2002–2011). Led the department for fish health and contingency planning.
