INAQ AS has a history of almost 25 years as advisers to the seafood industry. The company was established by Frode Blakstad in May 2000, originally as an investment company, but after a short while re-established as a consulting company, with a focus on strategy and business development for the seafood industry.

INAQ offers interdisciplinary expertise at the intersection of technology, biology and finance, and has employees with many years of operational experience in management from the seafood industry. Our advisers can step into board positions, as interim managers or as advisers close to the management of seafood companies.

We work with companies and business organizations within aquaculture, fisheries and the supplier industry, and work as much internationally as in Norway. In addition to our own employees, we have a network of associated experts who can contribute to projects if more heads and hands are needed on larger projects.

INAQ is a company acknowledged for having advisers with high competence, integrity and extensive experience. They all have a minimum education at master’s level, some with a PhD as well, in relevant fields, as well as operational management experience from a vast variety of seafood related companies. INAQ offers services in three main areas; Strategy and management, Transaction support and Sustainability and business management. INAQ set up tailor-made teams for each individual project. We prefer long-term relationships with our customers to be able to work closely with them in the development of their business. The longest engagement still ongoing started 19 years ago!
