Board work

Several of INAQ's advisors have extensive experience as chairpersons and board members in various companies within the seafood industry. Our advisors have diverse expertise profiles that can help strengthen the board's competence.

Background

INAQ has advisors with extensive experience from board work, and INAQ employees are able to take on board roles. INAQ supports this for several reasons;

•Our advisors have unique industry knowledge of the seafood sector, a strong academic background, and a good understanding of proper board work.

•Through the insight that board work provides, INAQ’s advisors have gained a continuous “temperature gauge” of the status and development of the players in the seafood sector.

Independence

The requirement for INAQ’s advisors to take on these types of positions relies on a strong awareness of how these roles can affect the impartiality of individual board members. Additionally, it is essential to always be completely transparent about which positions each advisor holds.

Board Function

Board work focuses on controlling the company, supporting the CEO, and developing and implementing plans to realize the company’s potential. INAQ’s advisors bring valuable expertise to the board, but equally important is that we ensure the board fulfills its intended role. We provide advice on changes in management and board composition, and we contribute to the development and implementation of strategies with clear goals for sustainable growth in the companies.
