INAQ can review your company's plans and routines for maintaining good biosecurity, fish health, and fish welfare, and suggest measures to improve this work.
Background
Every year, a far too large proportion of the fish produced in aquaculture die, regardless of species and production method. This results in enormous financial losses and represents a major threat to the welfare of the fish we produce, and to the general reputation of the industry. The cause of high mortality is often complex, but not random. If one is to succeed in reducing losses, a holistic approach is necessary, where one develops good systems for monitoring and follow-up of fish welfare and fish health.

•Review of systems for monitoring and follow-up of fish welfare in daily operations as well as in various operations.
•Review of routines for fish health surveillance and action points in the event of disease detection
•Review of risk analyses and action plans.
•Review of biosecurity routines and biosecurity measures

We will point out areas that are well covered by current routines, and we will identify areas for improvement. The report will cover the entire value chain as well as overall management and coordination of the work.
