Sondre Skjelbred Refsnes appointed as senior advisor at INAQ

INAQ has recruited Sondre Skjelbred Refsnes as a senior advisor within the strategic business area Finance, starting from the first of December.

Sondre has a background as an auditor and finance manager from various businesses, including property, aquaculture and renewable energy.

Sondre is 35 years old and grew up in Ã…fjord outside Trondheim and was raised within the aquaculture industry through a family connection to the salmon farming company Refsnes Laks.

Sondre has a master’s degree in accounting and auditing from BI Norwegian Business School, with focus on company law, IFRS and corporate finance. He also holds a master’s degree in financial economics from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). The title of his thesis reflects an interest in financial analysis in the aquaculture industry; “Farming licenses for salmon – valuation and further analysis”.

Sondre previously worked at PWC for four years, and most recently held the position of Finance manager at the technology company Winns, where he has worked with strategy development and finance.

INAQ AS (www.inaq.no) provides advisory services to seafood companies and associated businesses both nationally and internationally. Sondre will have a key role within INAQ’s team working with strategic advisory, business development and financial services. INAQ assists investors with third-party assessments of seafood-related businesses, and Sondre’s expertise will be an important addition to INAQ’s other strategic areas within technology, biology and sustainability.
