Erik works with strategic analysis and sustainability management in the seafood industry and related sectors. He holds an MSc in Industrial Ecology from NTNU and has more than 15 years of experience from research, consulting, and industry. Combining scientific rigour with practical experience, he helps companies integrate sustainability as a core part of their business strategy. He provides decision-makers with a structured foundation for managing risk, reducing environmental footprints, and making sustainability work more effective.

- Aker Carbon Capture (2022–2023) – LCA Advisor. Developed systems and analyses for climate footprint, supporting management in environmental strategy and reporting.
- Asplan Viak (2017–2022) – Senior LCA Advisor. Led projects for industry and the public sector on ESG reporting, green finance, and product footprint analysis.
- SINTEF Ocean (2008–2017) – Researcher. Developed methods for analysing climate and resource use in the seafood industry. Contributed to international standards for environmental accounting in seafood.
- Veidekke ASA (2007–2008) – Trainee. Worked on environmental policy, ISO 9001/14001 auditing, and HSE systems.

- Master of Science in Materials Technology with a specialisation in Industrial Ecology – NTNU, 2001–2007.
